RAFFLE Status:
- Brian S was selected while already and ironically positioned at the head of Table 09 for a 9-ball rack break. His break pocketed the 1-ball and the 2-ball, but the 3-ball was partially hidden by the 4-ball at the southeast table quadrant. He aimed for a northeast cross-corner bank and missed.
- Roy S was selected and made one on the break. A clean hit was available and accomplished, but there was no clear path to a pocket.
- The pot now rolls over to Week 07.
OTHER:
- Many greetings included, “Happy New Year.”
- The match on Tables 11&12 between the two leading teams was very entertaining and wound up very close – with Nuthin’… extending their leadership by another 14 points. Racking… nonetheless maintained their 2nd place standing. One week of matches remains.
- The currently qualified top shooter (Kevin G) for this season was missing, but still has a strong chance to stay on top – if he doesn’t miss Week 07.
- Julie Andrews was not in attendance, but the sound of music became a discussion topic. Particularly noteworthy was a mistake by the League Operator turning on the outdoor music only to find it emitted a concert-like volume… rocking half the parking lot to the west. It was rectified in time to mitigate potential complaints.
