1. Gerardo F and Julian F both their 1st perfect 80 for this season.
2. Immer H scored 77 points.
3. Steve VD and Craig P ended with a 76.

RAFFLE Status:

1. Phil P, Table 15; was picked for the first time this season since week 2 of last season.  BUT…..he broke dry!
2. The entire raffle pot rolls over to Week 10.  

OTHER:

1. Last Game has a missing player but had no HCP impact.
2. Phil S made his season debut for Racking My Brain and scored 47.
3. Jeff L made his season debut for the Scorpions scoring 64.
4. Ed S did not use his aura to select Robert S for the 1st raffle.
5. The second set of payment envelopes will be available next week. Please double-check to make sure all is correct!

RAFFLE Status:

1. 1. Jerry R, Table 10; (1st time picked since sign-up night of the 2025 Winter season) sank 2 balls on the break. He was left with a tough long cut on the 1-ball up in the top right corner pocket, or what looked like an easier 1-5 combo in the side. He tried for the combo, the 5 almost went in, but didn’t, and then the cue ball almost knocked the 1-ball in that same side pocket, but didn’t. No cash out this time.
   2. The entire pot rolls onward to Week 09. (Still only one pick!)

OTHER:

1. 1. Eclectic Eels had a missing player which caused an 8pt HCP decrease, therefore, awarding the Rookies an 8pt Bonus.
   2. Reminder from the venue: There is no outside ALCOHOL allowed in Shooters. They count on your patronage to stay in business for our enjoyment.

RAFFLE Status:

1. Sean B, Table 13; second time picked since week 01 of this season.    The 9-ball, looking like it might hang up, slow rolled into the bottom right corner. His first shot on the 1-ball was not an easy start shot but he made it look easy getting perfect position on the 2-ball straight-in to the top left corner pocket. 3-ball straight-in the right side, came of the rail nicely for the 4-ball. He drew the cue ball perfectly to come back for the 5-ball in the top right corner and had just enough angle to come back for the 6-ball in the right side. But he didn’t like the angle and stopped for 6/9ths of the pot!
2. The remaining raffle pot rolls over to Week 08. – staying at 1 pick for a while longer!!!

OTHER:

1. Rookies had one absence for an 8 point HCP reduction, thereby awarding an 8 point bonus to their House of Pain opponent.

RAFFLE Status:

1. Jimmy S, Table 02: Made the 3-ball in the top right corner. The 1-ball was left right in-between the 8-ball and 2-ball for no chance of a shot. He tried kicking at it to no avail.
2. The entire raffle pot rolls over to Week 07.
3. NOTE: Still only one pick but is getting closer!

OTHER:

1. Chalkoholics had a missing player and it resulted in zero team handicap variance.
2. Rookies also had a missing player, but theirs caused an 8pt HCP decrease, which awarded PhaCues the 8pt Bonus.
3. AJ N made his season debut for Free Agents.
4. Handicap adjustment for new player Ron K of Chalkoholics added 16 points to their team total.

Outstanding outing(s):

1. Craig P shot the only perfect 80 and it was his second for season.
2. Tony C scored 77 points.
3. Julian F tallied 75.

RAFFLE Status:

1. Alex O, Table 9:  Picked for the 1st time since Week 01 of Autumn 2024. He made the 5-ball in the top left corner. He was left with a cross-side bank to start with on the 1-ball which he fired in! That, left him a perfect 2-8 combo with the 8-ball hanging in the top left corner pocket. He made it with ease, however, the 2-ball didn’t stay in the pocket, it rolled a couple inches on the short rail with the cue ball on the first diamond of the long rail. He wanted to go for it all, as the table was laid out pretty good, so he tried kicking the 2-ball in, but it did not go in!
2. The entire raffle pot rolls over to Week 06.
   NOTE:  Still only choosing 1 pick but getting close (thank you Alex! LOL!)

OTHER:

1. The missing player on the Scorpions and no HCP impact.
2. It was asked if on an open table if the 8-ball can be used. The 8-ball is never available to hit first to make another ball or a safe (unless you are on the 8-ball but not on an open table).
3. NOTE: Cubs win after 11 innings. Sox lost after 13 innings!

1. Still only one pick, and that pick was Brian C, Table 5; picked for the first time in a loooong while, broke dry!
2. The entire pot (slowly increasing) rolls over to Week 05.

OTHER:

1. John W made his season debut for Free Agents scoring a 57.
2. Rookies missing player had no HCP change, therefore, no Bonus points awarded to the Butchers.
3.  Chalkoholics missing player caused an 8pt HCP increase, which does not award Racking My Brain any Bonus points.

RAFFLE Status:

1. Ben W, table 14; 1st time picked since this LO has been doing the stats! But unfortunately, miscued on the break!

OTHER:

1. This week had season debuts for Mike H and Bill F for the Eclectic Eels.
2. Pocket Rattlers missing player caused an 8pt HCP decrease which awarded their opponent Eclectic Eels an 8pt Bonus.
3. There were no roster changes.  The deadline is now passed for naming dedicated subs on the rosters.  Rule 20.F stipulations are now the only means with which to adjust rosters.

RAFFLE Status:

1. Speaking of Craig P (shot 80 up above, almost have a perfect night), Table 5; had a spectacular break making the 1-ball and 7-ball on the break. Table was set up very nicely. He then made the 2-ball, then the 3-ball, then the 4-ball, then the 5-ball, then the 6-ball, setting up perfectly for the 8-ball…….and MISSED! So uncharacteristic of Craig!! That was a bummer!! Such a nice table run! No money for making all those balls since he missed.
2. The entire raffle pot rolls over to Week 03.

OTHER:

1. Roster adjustments since the previous week:
   • Dave F joined Behind the 8-Ball and dropped 58 points against the opposing team.
   • Ron K joined Chalkoholics, joining our league for the 1st time, shot a nice 64.
2. Scorpions was missing a player, which caused an 8pt HCP decrease, awarding the 8pt Bonus to the Chalkoholics.
3. Pocket Rattlers also missing a player, caused an 8pt HCP decrease, which awarded the 8pt Bonus to Racking My Brain.
4. The deadline for adding subs is forthcoming at 11pm on Week 03:
   • Filling in names for missing subs on the rosters. Once the deadline is over, if you only have 4 or 5 players, that will remain for the rest of the season.
5. Hope everyone was staying inside due to the air quality! Want everyone to stay safe.

RAFFLE Status:

1. Sean B, Table 5; was selected for the 1st time THIS season, after being picked 4 times last season! The 5-ball dropped in the bottom right corner pocket, but he was left with no clear shot on the 1-ball as the 6-ball was blocking it. He had a great 2-rail kick shot to hit the 1-ball, which almost knocked the 6-ball in the top right corner pocket, but need just a little more umph!
2. As voted at the Captain’s Meeting, only one selection will be picked until the pot is builds up.
3. The entire raffle pot rolls over to Week 02.  

OTHER:

1. Wolff Pack had a missing player that caused a handicap subtraction impact (8 points).  Their opponent the Butchers were therefore awarded 8 bonus points.  See Rule 20.E’s example i. for a little more generalized explanation.
2. Chalkoholics also had a missing player, but there was no HCP impact.
3. Walter H for the Rookies made his return after a long hiatus. Welcome back!
4. We still have 2 weeks left for the addition of subs!

The official signup for the general public concluded with 14 teams enrolled.  The season will end on 08Oct2026’s Party night.  

If any other individuals are interested to join in, please notify the venue (Shooter’s Sports Bar and Billiards, Grayslake, Illinois)  before Tuesday, 07July2026:7:00pm.  The venue will, in turn, notify the league operator by the final deadline of 8pm on the same night.

The season’s match play officially begins on Thursday, 09July2026 at 7:30pm.

The captains/delegates at the meeting participated in a rule change discussion and vote.  Summary of the discussions:

1. 9ball Raffle – When the raffle pot is under $150 a ball, there will be only one pick, until the pot reaches $200 a ball, then 2 picks will be pulled. Gives the pot a chance to build up.
2. Tickets vs Randomizer. Couple of people were interested in going back to the Randomizer, but the majority stuck with Tickets. No change.
3. Again, someone brought up a dislike for the no-jumping rule, but that remains a venue rule with which we must comply.

RAFFLE Status:

There were 115 chances invested in Thursday evening’s raffle opportunity. With the pot under the $150/ball mark, only one pick was chosen:

1. Norberto E, Table 2; was picked and broke dry!
2. The entire raffle pot rolls over to 2026 Summer season’s Week 01.

OTHER:

1. The deadline allows adding/changing subs up to Week 03 at the latest.
