Noteworthy events from Winter 2021 Week 02

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. The Kevins C and G each scored 75.
  2. Mona T shot a 73.
  3. Nancy K for serving up Kevin C’s first loss since the 2020 Autumn season.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Nancy K was selected and racked (the balls, not Nancy) on table 07.  Her break shot sank the 8-ball in the northeast corner and then the cue ball dropped into the south side pocket a moment and a half later.
  2. Nancy K was selected again (2nd consecutive week that the same person was selected twice) and broke dry on table 08.
  3. The raffle pot rolls over to Week 03.  

OTHER:

  1. All teams were condensed on the West side tables for the first time in a while.  Seemed to work out fine.  The raffle station moved to Table 02 for convenience.  That also worked out fine, although there were 18 fewer opportunities purchased than last week’s set.
  2. Tony L from the Racking my Brain team had the most interesting line score of the night. Four sevens and four tens.  One each against each opponent.
  3. Son beat father twice in this season’s first Wolff battle.  The next one is scheduled for Week 07.
  4. On this night, a female in stockings and garter belt played pool on Table 13 with a man in a skirt.  No complaints, just unusual.
