- Jeff Hlavachek (he authorized the full name usage) had top score this week at 75.
- Brian C scored 74.
- Lew M tallied 72, but perhaps more impressive is that it was 63.9% better than this week’s incoming average for him.
- While we’re on that subject, Lew took 2nd in that category this week just ahead of Bob C (63.6%) and just behind Allie C (66.7%).
RAFFLE Status:
- Oh the drama. Mona T made a ball on his Table 08 break, but the 1-ball wasn’t friendly – positioned about 2/3 of the way down the head rail and leaving only a kick shot available for a chance. Mona tried but fouled by hitting the 7-ball first.
- Nancy K also broke on Table 08 (the crowd coerced her with the fact that it was a relatively new-felted table), but the balls never felted like dropping into a pocket.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 06.
OTHER:
- Braxton L made his league debut and scored a 62.
- John R and Lisa L, long-time teammates from previous seasons, dropped in for a visit.
- The league operator wore the one-of-its-kind league-member autographed Shooter’s shirt to recognize the 6-year anniversary of his double-organ transplant which caused his two-season absence (many thanks to Ricky M-now-R for having filled in back then).
