Outstanding outing(s):
- The only sources of perfection tonight were Larry P’s final score of 80 and, well, I guess that was the only one.
- Kevin C and Romy G came close with 77 each.
- 76’s were achieved by Frank C, Scott C, and Nan C!
RAFFLE Status:
- Matt S got selected and darted a ball into a pocket like lightening on the Table 12 break. And the 1-ball was free and open – if you disregard the object ball that was about 1.5 feet directly in front of the cue ball’s path. His carom attempt off the southeast rail failed.
- Nancy K (like Matt, also had the max amount invested) was advertised by her opponents this night as shooting very well, very hot, very steady. Her Table 14 break shot was immediately miscued, made a good hit anyway, and nothing dropped… except for her spirits.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 08.
OTHER:
- L’s Elephant got its trunk stomped on by a team of warriors.
- One of the longest-tenured league members (Kevin C) and one of the very newest (Esteban Q), have exactly the same number of points after each having played seven weeks this season!
- Fermin A made his league debut and finished with 56 points against the team that had been, and remains, in 2nd place.
- Best wishes for a strong recovery are extended by the league to Steve I.
