Outstanding outing(s):

- His teammate Frank C finished with a 76.
- Kevin G shot a 75.
RAFFLE Status:
- Mike M was the first of 42 entrants selected. His break on Table 12 had a good smack to it, but ended uneventfully.
- Dennis S’ break shot on Table 09 was uneventful from start to finish.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 02.
OTHER:
- Ahh the buzz of a new season starting – always inspirational. And Shooter’s the venue celebrated with some impressive new technology displayed in various places.
- Ramiro Ga… made his league debut with a score of 64.
- Andrew S had the most interesting sequence of game scores – possibly ever:
- 6, 6, 6, 10, 6, 6, 6, 6
- Kevin C was the “exception” opponent.
- Mark H had the most interesting game and incredible finish against Mona T on Table 09.
- Mark broke and ran the solids but hung the 5-ball in the northeast corner.
- All the remaining balls (7 stripes and an 8-ball) were on the foot side of the table.
- Mona chose and successfully executed a safety by shooting a stripe to sink the lingering 5-ball and hiding the cue-ball from the 8-ball.
- The 8-ball was a little bit northwest of the foot spot and the angle to the north side pocket was tight – even if you had a straight on shot at it.
- The cue-ball was pretty much in the same position from a north-south perspective, but approximately 6 balls of distance further east and there were at least two object balls in between cue-ball and 8-ball.
- Mark said nothing but was focused. His body language and gazes were clearly calculating the exact amount of English and aim required to kick the cue-ball off the southeast rail to sink that 8-ball into the north side pocket.
- Mona and his teammates and the League Operator were gathered at the little square table between entrance and Table 09 and all thinking “No Way.”
- Then it happened – 8-ball dead center into the pocket!!!!!!!!
