Outstanding outing(s):
- Julian F and Mona T each scored 77.
- Scott C, Bryan W, and Kevin C each shot a 76.
- Tom B from Less Finesse and Romy G each tallied 75.
RAFFLE Status:
- Larry P invested several minutes having balls racked on Table 11, but they didn’t settle. A move to Table 12 resulted in one made on the break. He was left with a tough cut on the 1-ball to the southeast corner and needed Big Red for the stretch shot. He missed into the southern rail.
- Mike K lined up on Table 08. His break shot sank both the 1-ball and 2-ball.
- The unfettered cue-ball sat at the head string just barely to the north side of the kitchen.
- The 3-ball was near the rack spot, and the 9-ball lined up next to it toward the southeast corner.
- Unfortunately, the 5-ball decided to stop next to the opposite side of the 3-ball preventing a direct hit. But the 3 still had a tiny window of clearance for south side parking.
- Mike lined up a kick shot off the east rail and hit the 9 first for a foul.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 03.
OTHER:
- If anybody on the rosters wants to compete against Jerry R for the top shooter side-pot competition, your last chance to sign up is Week 03! See rule 24.A.iii for more details.
- A trio of players returned to the venue on league night after a 20-something month absence. Brandon D competed for Scratch This and shot 25% of perfect. Immer H and Roger M rented out Table 16 for a while and said hello to many as the night ensued.
- Fermin A made an incredible shot on Table 14.
- The cue-ball was positioned in the northeast octant of the table along with the 8-ball and an opponent object ball – both of which interfered with a straight shot.
- His only remaining object ball (prior to the 8) was in the exact middle of the table.
- Fermin shot the cue-ball into the southwest rail, it caromed into the south rail and then the east rail and then sliced the targeted object ball flawlessly into the west side pocket. Then he missed the 8 on the next shot.
