Outstanding outing(s):
- Mona T and Mike M each tallied a perfect 80.
- Julian F shot a 76 – really good for pool and pretty good for golf.
- Esteban Q and Steve G each finished with 75 points this week.
RAFFLE Status:
- Tim B abandoned the usage of Nancy’s name in his entry and got selected for the first time since this season’s signup night. He broke on Table 02 and sank one.
- The 1-ball bounced around a little and rested slightly south of middle table and a few inches west of the head string.
- The cue ball situated near the rack.
- The 6-ball rolled in the way of a clean shot.
- Tim switched cue sticks and mumbled something about jumping. He then briefly lined up a kick shot off the southwest rail and smacked that 1-ball dead center into the northeast corner like a cannon.
- After the crowd’s astonished cheer, Tim had no shapes on the 2-ball and no interest in another miracle. He immediately cashed out for 2/9ths of the available pot.
- Braxton L still wants tickets, but was selected to break on Table 04.
- He sank one on the break and left the cue ball almost on the head spot.
- The 1-ball was a smidge north of exact middle table.
- The 2-ball decided to be the interference, but Braxton spotted a few millimeters of 1-ball still available.
- He sliced it perfectly into the north side pocket.
- The 2-ball was open for either eastern corner. Braxton inquired the value of his current achievement and liked what he heard. He cashed out for 2/9ths of the Tim-reduced available pot.
- The remaining and still appetizing raffle pot rolls over to Week 11.
OTHER:
- The league now heads into the final week of matches and the six top teams are separated by a total of 45 points. Two pairs of them are scheduled to oppose each other.
- In the Tony versus Tony match on table 08, Tony C called for a ref to watch a hit. Tony L’s cue ball was less than a chalk width northeast of the 9-ball which was frozen to the slanted southwest rail inside the southeast corner pocket.
- L absorbed a timeout to consult with Captain Goose.
- L made a great and clean hit instantly sinking the 9 and the cue ball caromed off the western rail and back for near-perfect shape on the 8-ball to the northwest corner.
- But L missed that ensuing shot and ended up losing the game to C.
- Fermin A had an interesting scoresheet with one 10, one 5, and six 6s.
