- Mona T and Edgar A each shot a perfect 80.
- Mike M and Lito G double focused on 75 points.
- Esteban Q and Bill T each tallied 74. Bill’s score was the icing on a grand day.
RAFFLE Status:
- Nancy K was selected for the only time this season and broke dry on Table 11.
- Mike B made two balls on his Table 05 break after retracting his thanks to Steve V for selecting him (Mike hadn’t realized it was Nancy). Mike had straight-on shape for the 1-ball in the southeast corner. Made it and drew to get back for the 2 in the north side, but the draw stopped at 80% of the needed distance. With three balls already sunk, Mike elicited coaching ideas and chose to try a two-way shot slicing the 2 at the side and
caroming the cue-ball toward the 8-ball which sat very near the northwest corner. Neither of the two-ways succeeded. - The entire raffle pot rolls over to Week 06.
OTHER:
- The Free Agents, Here for the Raffle, and Double Focus teams each had all four designated-regulars playing for the first time this season.
- All ties in the team standings are now broken, but a pair of exact ties (same number of points) exist in the Individual Standings. Mike B and Edgar A have 347 for an average of 8.675 per game and Jerry W and Braxton L each average 8.075 ppg with their 323 points.
- Another large arc of holiday balloons was delivered and installed near the venue entrance by Dennis S. And this one has a Santastic header on it.
- Jon W made his season debut. The first digit of his score was one greater than the 2nd digit. Can you dig it?
- Frank C also made his season debut, but Romy G interrupted his perfect score.
- Even though he was in attendance, Julian F missed his 2nd consecutive week – the league wishes for his playability to return soon.
- If you missed out on the jukebox selections between 9:30 and 11pm, you were not in the venue.
