- Kevin C and Ed S each had an 80.
- Romy G scored 77 points.
- Mona T shot a 76.
RAFFLE Status:
- Josh G was picked first for the 2nd consecutive week. This time he instantly made the 5-ball on his Table 07 break shot and was unlucky that the 1-ball also trickled into the NW corner at the very end.
- That was unlucky because the 2-ball was a few inches from that same corner, but near the west rail. The cue-ball was midway between the north side pocket and the 2-ball.
- Josh asked for help. “Kick it or bank it” was the reply.
- Josh banked it and it headed off target, but it hit the NE rail and kicked off the 7 into the NE corner.
- The 6-ball almost fell on the same shot too and he cashed out for 1/3 of the available pot.
- Josh selected his teammate Sultan S who also broke on Table 07, but it was dry by that time. Summer heat, you know.
- The remaining raffle pot rolls over to Week 08.
OTHER:
- Last week’s news failed to mention that Jon outscored Jerry 20-13 in their head-to-head fam match.
- John P of Wolff Pack shot a 63 with his season debut. Scott C of Pocket Rattlers did not fare as well with his.
- Immer H was absent this week, but it had zero impact on the PhaCues handicap calculation.
- Kevin C, with his 4th straight week mentioned in the Outstanding outing(s) section, has thrust himself into the League’s Top Shooter leadership with just short of half the season finished thus far.
- This week’s turnout may inspire a new Led Zeppelin song entitled, “A Whole Lotta Subs.”
