RAFFLE Status:
- Lito G sank the 2-ball on his Table 03 break and there was no interference between cue-ball and 1-ball after the break had settled. Lito sank the 1-ball in the southeast corner with just enough follow to carom the cue to the kitchen’s edge. The 3-ball was half the remaining table away and Lito couldn’t pull the trigger on it. He cashed out for 2 ninths of the available pot. He then pulled the trigger and buried the 3-ball without flaw into the southwest corner pocket.
- Lito said he had never been picked before, but history documentation shows his name in Week 09 of Autumn 2014 when the raffle was still for a 10-ball rack instead of 9-ball. As it turned out, Lito had already gone for that night, so a supplemental pick was made for Kevin P.
- Lito’s mouse-click chose Mona T. Mona racked and broke on Table 12 and made a ball.
- The cue-ball and 1-ball were lined up for a bank from the kitchen neighborhood to the east side pocket. However, the 3-ball was in the way of that bank and the 1 had no open pocket.
- Mona thought for TuumaMoments.
- He caromed the cue-ball off the 1 and barreled it into several balls along the western rail. One of them dropped into the northwest corner.
- The 1-ball was easy pickins into the southwest corner. He followed it to carom off the southern rail for shapes on the 3-ball into the same corner.
- Perfect draw on that shot pulled the cue past the 8-ball interference for perfect shapes on the 5 in the northeast corner.
- The 6-ball was near enough to the 5 such that he followed again
to carom off the north rail and make the 6. - He played for shapes on the 7-ball to the same pocket instead of laying up to blast it down the southeast corner. He didn’t get alignment and cashed out for 2/3 of the available pot.
- The dwindled raffle pot is available for Week 14’s party night.
OTHER:
- It’s Straight In scored three and a quarter hundred on this night to end up in 1st place for the season.
- Julian F won the Top Shooter Side Pot convincingly by ending the season with his perfect 80. He also wins the overall Top Shooter honors.
- Romy G made a point to Frank C in their one-on-one match. More precisely, Romy made 20 points and without a counterpoint to be heard.
- Former league member Ricky R rented Table 17 and said hello to those he remembered from the past.
- A more recent former league member Brian C rented Table 19 and mingled with his former teammate Mark D among others.
- The Astros took a 2-0 game lead against the Yanks in this season’s ALCS.
