Noteworthy events from 2023 Summer Week 06

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Frank C, Steve G, and Mona T each had a perfect 80.
  2. Micah N scored his 2nd consecutive 77.
  3. Kevin C and Esteban Q each shot a 76.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Josh G was picked for the 2nd time this season.  He had a Table 15 dry break.  The crowd expressed an “oooh” at the end because the 3-ball almost dropped.
  2. Edgar A was picked for the 1st time ever.  He had a Table 08 dry break.  The crowd expressed an “awww” at the end because the 5-ball just missed dropping into the north side pocket.
  3. The entire raffle pot rolls over to Week 07.  

OTHER:

  1. Each team (excluding the BYE team) had a full 4-person roster playing.
  2. Esteban was very dapper.
  3. Monica made her league debut as a server.
  4. Kevin C played elevator with Sultan S and with Monica too, but not simultaneously.
  5. The Goose neva-gadda-da-hear-da song that played after he left.
