RAFFLE Status:
- The nearby aura of Ed S accidentally used the league operator’s finger to select Tim B. Breaking on Table 10, Tim sank the only two balls evenly divisible by 4. Then the half-four ball got in the way of the half-two ball.
Tim still made a good hit on it and it collided with the only remaining unnamed even ball on the table, but it missed going into the SW corner. - Nancy K: Table 11; Made the 5-ball on the break. Cue-ball and 1-ball were almost evenly aligned on the kitchen wall. Nancy took the carving knife from the drawer and calmly sliced the 1 into the NE corner.She now had long but unimpeded shape on the 2-ball.
After various teasing from the crowd and a humorous vocalized “shut up” from the shooter, Nancy toasted that 2-ball into the SW corner and turned off the oven. She cashed out for one third of the available pot. - The remaining pot rolls over to Week 06.
OTHER:
- Paul S, Mike H, and Bryan W made their season debuts and their scores ranged inclusively between 72 and 55.
- Last Game had a missing player with no impact to HCP.
- Big Slick had a missing player and the HCP impact awarded a bonus 8 points to A Fresh Start.
- Sharp Shooter’s made excellent usage of their BYE week occupying the BYE table from 6:30pm until sometime after the League Operator was out the door at midnight.
