Noteworthy events from 2022 Autumn Week 13

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Jeff H and Immer H each scored 77.
  2. Steve V shot a 74.
  3. Bryan W finished with 73 and took sole possession of first in the current Top Shooter standings.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Speaking of Bryan W, he got selected first even though he had left his break cue at home.  Borrowing teammate Tim’s, Bryan nearly scratched in the northeast corner but merely broke dry on Table 04.
  2. Sal H was selected for the first time ever.  Immediately after winning a league match game against Romy, Sal broke his runout rack dry on Table 15.
  3. The entire raffle pot rolls over to week 14.

OTHER:

  1. Randy V made his season debut with a 43 against the current 1st place team.
  2. Cristina C took a route to her best score of the season(66).
  3. Should Be Out‘s opponent was missing a player which resulted in the example described in rule 20.E.ii (although only 8 points instead of 16).
  4. An anonymous tipster conveyed that someone on the PhaCues roster, and whose full name has at least one “r” in it, missed two ball-in-hand shots on this night.
    • What?  Another anonymous tipster, after reading this post, said it was two ball-in-hand misses in the same game on consecutive shots!
