RAFFLE Status:
- Ryan P was picked and he made the 2-ball on the Table 12 break. He was left with a diagonally table-length unimpeded shot at the 1-ball, but it was almost hugging the kitchen rail slightly west of the southeast corner pocket. He missed it.
- Jeff H was chosen second and his break shot on Table 06 scored as many balls as he ultimately scored in his entire match against Mike McG. Nada.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 03.
OTHER:
- Reminder to all captains that this coming Week 03 is the deadline for getting subs onto each roster in accordance with our rules. A few teams have open slots as of this posting.
- Eric L made a snazzy rail shot on Table 05 with one object ball remaining before the 8-ball. His cue ball outcome mildly bumped an opponent’s ball insufficiently to have a clear shot into the south side pocket. He took a few breaths and kicked the cue ball off the east rail perfectly popping the object ball into the southwest corner pocket. Perfect shapes on the 8-ball to the same pocket. Magnificent!
- Mark DeM returned to the league and shot a 75. Steve L too, but with one less than the inverse of that score.
- In a pre-match Ring Game among three of the Peace and Quiet teammates, Mike B made some noise by scoring 6 consecutive points in a mere three consecutive shots!
