Noteworthy events from 2023_4 Winter Week 13

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Guillermo G registered the only perfect 80 and it was his season debut for Last Game.
  2. Mona T shot the only 77.
  3. Scott C tallied the only 76.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Danny O, Table 07: This is Danny’s first time ever picked.  He made the 4-ball and 6-ball on the break shot – one each into the north corner pockets.
    • The cue-ball nestled next to the south side pocket.
    • The 1-ball was middle table.
    • The 5-ball threatened to interfere but didn’t – settling between the cue-ball and side pocket.
    • Danny shot the 1 into the north side pocket and set up for the 2-ball to the same pocket.
    • He paused to ask about the financial risk and then chose to shoot.
    • He made it.
    • He now had a clean shot on the 3-ball to the NW corner, but there were angles and distance to consider.
    • Danny paused again to ask about the financial risk and opted to cash out for 4/9ths of the available pot.
  2. Sean B, Table 10: He made a strong break and the 1-ball eventually decelerated into the NE corner pocket.  The cue-ball was posted in the kitchen with the 8-ball interfering on a clean shot to the down table 2-ball.  Sean played a carom off the NW rail to make a good hit on the 2-ball which collided with the nearby 9-ball and both began rolling toward each of the western corners.  Neither dropped, though and the crowd went, “awwww.”
  3. The remaining raffle pot remains available for Week 14.
