RAFFLE Status:
- Ramiro G (from Scorpions) made two balls on his break shot. But he didn’t bring in any cookies to sell, so the 1-ball played hide and seek. Ramiro’s seek was unsuccessful.
- Romy G was selected 2nd for the 2nd consecutive week. Although he cashed in last week, his dry break today did not allow a repeat.
- The entire raffle pot rolls larger over to Week 12.
OTHER:
- Racking My Brain had one absence, but caused no HCP impact.
- Stanley Steamers had one absence, but caused no HCP impact.
- Behind the 8-Ball had one absence causing a 16 point HCP decline, thereby awarding a 16 point bonus to their Big Slick opponent.
- Big Slick had one absence, but caused no HCP impact.
- There Goes My 80 had one absence causing an 8 point HCP decline, thereby awarding an 8 point bonus to their Pocket Rattlers opponent.
- This date was 2024’s longest daytime duration of the year.
- The league’s League Operator stopped in on the earlier side of when players arrive and mingled with several league members he hadn’t seen in many weeks. He found that to be wonderful and regretted not having seen and spoken with more.
- As a reminder, the League Operator has been absent the entire season due to a complex set of health-related conditions. Please know he greatly misses the Thursday night league people and atmosphere, but his treatment plan does not allow him to be out and about in night time hours.
- Although his absence will continue for an unknown duration, he is extremely thankful for the get-well card and accompanying financial gift that were sent to him several weeks ago by the league.
- He is also grateful for the Shooter’s staff that has successfully accomplished the bulk of his league night duties in his absence.
