Noteworthy events from Autumn Week 01

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Nobody scored a perfect 80.
  2. Larry P, Julian F, Johnny G, and Kevin L each had a 77.
  3. Steve G and Nancy K each had a 76.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Phil S broke dry.
  2. Nancy K broke dry.
  3. The available pot rolls over to Week 02.

OTHER:

  1. Three of the six first-time league members made their official debut and averaged exactly 50 points for the week. Of those three, two are teammates (Phil S and Stephen L), and the 3rd (Jim M) was their opponent this week!
  2. Dave “Goose” G returned after a 400 season absence (exaggeration, but it’s been a heckuva long time).
  3. His teammate Dave Gr made a case for renaming this season from Autumn to Fall (he had one right next to Table 10 and was thankfully fine after regaining his balance).
  4. Alex S needed a jump.
  5. Elly made her service debut behind the bar.
