Noteworthy events from Autumn Week 09

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Perfect 80 scores were accomplished by:
    • Tim C (only one on his team, whereas last week he was the only one who didn’t score 80)
    • Mike M
    • Jerry W
  2. Julian F and Derrick J each shot a 77
  3. Jerry R was the only one with a 76 and Frank C the only one with a 75.
  4. Bill S from the Free Agents outscored Larry P in each of the two games they played against each other.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. John R made two on the break… including the cue ball.  Bummer.
  2. Jerry W made one on the break and cut the 1-ball into the rail on the subsequent shot.  Arghhh!
  3. This week had the highest number of chances (255) purchased this season.
  4. The raffle pot rolls over to week 10.

OTHER:

  1. The season is officially half over.  The first set of payment envelopes expired and a fresh set will be made available next week!
  2. The English translation of Los Chingones was learned by at least one more person.
  3. Three subs this week (Lisa L, Steve J, and Gary T) wound up precisely one place higher in the individual standings than the person for whom they subbed!
