Outstanding outing(s):
- Jim S had the only perfect 80 this week.
- Wes P and Tom Barn each shot 73.
- Mona T earned a 70.
RAFFLE Status:
- Tim B returned to the raffle and had a powerful break – almost instantly sinking 4 balls upon impact on Table 05. The trouble is that one of them was all white and not from fright.
- Another strong break was wielded by Andrew S (a.k.a Primo). With two down on the break he was “set up” with a backward cut to put the 1-ball into the south side – which he did. He then proudly and wisely (given that the 2-ball was looking unfriendly) cashed out.
- The remaining raffle pot rolls over to Week 06.
OTHER:
- It felt like holidays were approaching and indeed they shall. The league has no more matches scheduled until 07Jan2021.
- Tim B, Scott K, and Julian F each made their season debuts.
- Jeremy M made his league debut and scored 69 while officially replacing Romy G on the Nuthin’ But a Stroke roster.
- Don S, a former long-time league member, returned to say hello and is getting along fine. He did not bring his idiosyncratic folding chair, though.
