Noteworthy events from Summer Week 04

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Nobody scored a perfect 80 this week, but Julian F and Chris O came closest with 77 each.
  2. Of the eight people who only lost one game, (two 77’s, three 76’s, two 75’s, and a 71), Brian S and Casey S imposed half of them (two each).
  3. Paul A. played the greatest Blues-set of his career with his initial $5 deposit to the juke box.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Chris O. (first time ever selected) broke dry.
  2. Roy S. (countless times selected throughout the centuries) made one on the break and hung the second shot in the southeast corner pocket.
  3. The raffle pot rolls over to week 05.

Other:

  1. John E and Steve L paired up to sub for the Rumor Has It team.
  2. We are beyond half way through this season now.
  3. The League Operator forgot to bring the scoresheets to Shooter’s, but found his primary parking space still available after the ~17 minute round-trip to retrieve them.
