Noteworthy events from Winter 2021 Week 08

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Mike H shot a perfect 80.
  2. Jerry W scored a 77.
  3. Bill T scored 76.
  4. Jon W beat Julian F twice and a total of 3 out of 4 games this season.  In the won game for Julian, Jon scored 7 points.

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Mike K invested 30% of his usual amount and got selected anyway.  He cashed in 0% of his highest winnings.
  2. And if you’re tired of the same old story, Kevin C broke dry on the same table as Mike K.
  3. Irony Alert: Mike and Kevin played their league match against each other immediately afterward and on the same table.  Kevin won it 20-10.
  4. The raffle pot rolls over to Week 09.

OTHER:

  1. Bill T returned following an injury absence.  His score this week (76) suggests that he’s 95% recovered.
  2. Lito G dropped in for a business/friendly visit.
  3. Sarah was missed, but Alex B covered well.
  4. Wolff Pack got people a bit slap-happy toward the end of the night.
