RAFFLE Status:
- Mike K got selected for the 3rd consecutive week and celebrated on Table 08 with his 2nd consecutive dry break.
- In a repeat of last week’s selections, Tim B got picked second again and also dry broke on Table 09.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 11.
OTHER:
- Concerns were expressed that the raffle randomizer has an affinity for Mike K and Tim B. A googled definition of “random” returned, “made, done, happening, or chosen without method or conscious decision.” Let’s focus on Mike K’s chances (which, would match Tim B’s chances because they each invested the same amount both weeks):
- Last week, Mike’s investment had a 6.689% chance of being selected. Eight other people had the same 6.689% chance of being selected. Any one of those 9 people (including Mike) had a 60.2007% chance of being selected.
- This week, Mike’s investment had a 7.9051% chance of being selected. Six other people had the same 7.9051% chance of being selected. Any one of those 7 people (including Mike) had a 55.336% chance of being selected.
