Outstanding outing(s):
- The final Scotch Doubles tournament match was between top-shooter Mona T and his partner Chad T versus Julian F + Sean B. They agreed ahead of time to split four fifths of the pot evenly and play a race to two for the final fifth. Mona’s team won in the hill/hill game. Irony alert:
- It was Mona’s 2nd consecutive appearance in the tourney final. Last season, his team officially took 2nd.
RAFFLE Status:
- James W got selected and he broke dry on Table 08.
- Jerry W got selected for the 2nd consecutive Party Night and also broke dry on Table 08.
- Shockingly, Mike K, Nancy K, and Tim B were not selected!!
- The pot rolls over to next season.
OTHER:
The end-of-season ceremony was again brief, but included the following acknowledgments:

- recognition of two players (Chad T and Steve I) who joined us new this season.
- Fauci’s Bitches won the 1st Place Team title and more than doubled their dose of victory relative to the 1st half standings.
- Mona T finished with the highest average (9.000 pts/game).
- Tony L (11.24%), Mike B (09.71%, and Jeff H (07.67%) had the highest percentage increase in points-per-game average relative to the beginning of the season. IRONY ALERT: Tony L’s percentage increase this season was less than his percentage increase in the preceding season.
- Prize money was handed out relative to the standings placement of each team.
Pizza was served.
The raffle was conducted and will rollover (see earlier blurb above).
The Scotch Doubles tournament was conducted among 12 players who signed up. Four of the six teams had someone from the league-winning Fauci’s Bitches roster – including one each in the finals. Four of the five tournament matches went to a hill/hill final.
Next season’s sign-up sheets will be made available to the open public on 29April2021 starting at approximately 6:30pm Grayslake time. The League Operator has already notified a batch of historic team captains through email or text or both.
