Noteworthy events from 2022 Autumn Week 02

Outstanding outing(s):

  1. Nobody was perfect, but Esteban Q was closest with a 77.  Equally closest was Mike B also with a 77, but the original news update neglected to include it.
  2. Kevin C and Dennis S each shot a 76.
  3. Four players with a 74:
    • Mike M
    • Andreas R (tied so far with Ed S for most total points this season)
    • Steve V
    • Joe L

RAFFLE Status:

  1. Sean B was selector and selectee, but broke dry on Table 12.
  2. Ramiro G made the 2-ball in the north side pocket on his Table 03 break.  There was lots of clutter in the northwest quadrant. The cue-ball was in the middle of the northeast quadrant.  The 1-ball and 9-ball were isolated in the southwest quadrant and awkwardly positioned for an unlikely combo into its corner.  Ramiro hit the 1 which hit the 9 and neither came anywhere close to a pocket.
  3. The raffle pot rolls over to Week 03.

OTHER:

  1. Three teams scored a 322 on this night.  Five other teams did better than that.
  2. Allie C and her teammate and captain Tim B were tied together at 70.
  3. Several players played their first week after a multi-season layoff:
    • John R (PhaCues) scored 72
    • Phil P (Six Amigos) scored 65
    • Joe C and Sharon W (Free Agents) totaled 100
    • Scott W (Should Be Out) scored 49
  4. Jerry W wasn’t in the mood for Stairway to Heaven.
