- Julian F tallied the only perfect 80…and well before anybody else had scored as many as 40.
- Lito G shot a 76.
- Romy G (yes, related) finished with 74 points.
RAFFLE Status:
- Esteban Q broke dry on Table 14.
- Johnny G was selected for the first time since Week 01 of the 2019 Summer season. It didn’t seem quite that long to get him to his Table 04 break shot. After making a ball on the break, the 1-ball was left about five ball-widths away from the southeast corner. The cue ball was in the middle of the foot rail. Another point of interest was the 2-ball hanging in the northeast corner. Johnny shot the 1-ball and missed it. The cue-ball caromed toward the 2-ball but never touched it.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 11.
OTHER:
- Adrian P made his season debut with the Bar Box Jellyfish team and scored a 70.
- After 10 weeks, only Kevin C, Jim M, and Ed S have not missed a week. Not ironically, each of them is from the only three teams that have not yet had a BYE.
- There were two tied with identical points for top-shooter at the end of last week, but only one of the two was present this week and there is now an 80 point separation between them. But it’s ranked by average points per game and that gap is not nearly as wide.
- Four from the pre-pandemic PhaCues roster wielded cue sticks against each other on Table 16. Happy Thursday Immer.
- The league hopes that Hurricane Ian was not overwhelming for our former league members Brian S and Carl K.
