RAFFLE Status:
- Nancy K was selected and broke dry on Table 09. There was excitement for a bit as the 9-ball was veering toward the southeast corner pocket, but it stopped short. Remember though the niner is just another ball and, in this case, was just another ball still sitting on the table.
- Her teammate Jon W got selected and broke dry on Table 08.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 08.
OTHER:
- In a head-to-head showdown among three of the five side-pot participants, Mona T outscored Scott C 16-11, and Jerry R outscored Mona 17-14. Most importantly, Jerry R broke the tie he was in with Mona and reduced the overall gap from Scott by 10 points. NOTE: Scott remains in the lead.
- All teams have played seven matches. This is mentioned here because one match this past week was played a bit earlier than all the others.
- There was an extra set of eyes on the match between Scratch This and Wolff Pack.
- Only one ghost played this week and ended up tied for its team’s lead in scoring.
- There was significant sentiment among many to prove that this league is collectively tired of winter weather.
