- Mona T and Scott C each scored a perfect 80. Scott’s was particularly impressive in that he gave up a total of only 8 points to his four opponents.
- Mark D, Mike M, Tony C, and Bob C each had 77.
- It was Mark’s 2nd consecutive 77
- This was Mike M’s 3rd consecutive mention in the Outstanding outing(s) section and his score tonight included a double-victory against the league’s currently-ranked Top Shooter (Julian F)
- Tony emoted verbally about the missed 80, but in good spirit and only after all league matches were done
- Regarding Bob C, he was Bob F’ng C according to the shirt he wore
- Paul S, Immer H, Jerry W, Tim B, and Sam B each tallied 76.
RAFFLE Status:
- When Mike B put in his team’s raffle investments, he requested the randomizer to pick their sequence in the list. The randomizer put him 2nd among the four teammates. Mike rewarded them with a dry break on Table 10.
- Andrew S had a solid break on Table 13 with a couple of close-call balls that didn’t drop – including the cue-ball near the east side pocket. In the end, it was a dry break.
- The raffle pot rolls over to Week 13.
OTHER:
- Jim S of Double Focus was on the premises just long enough to put his cue stick together, pay the envelope, and then learn that there was need for his attendance in a hospital delivery room.
- Jim eventually reported it was a false alarm. The world and his parents will need to wait for Carter’s birth a little longer.
- Although Jim’s absence increased the team HCP value, there was no impact on the opponent’s score by virtue of rule example 20.E.ii.
- Alexis (Lex) S made his league debut and scored 66 for There Goes My 80.
- Fancy Nancy K sat out of league competition and, instead, sparred with Mike K on Table 17.
- The league operator:
- worked maskless for the first time since Week 03 of the 2020 Spring season.
- recognized the anniversary of his simultaneous kidney-pancreas transplant which happened eight years ago on this date.
