Outstanding outing(s):
- Scott C, Mike H, and Norberto E each had a perfect 80.
- Romy G scored 77 points.
- Craig P shot a 74.
RAFFLE Status:
- Norberto E, Table 15: He sank the 4-ball on the break. During the break action, the 1-ball looked like it would line up nicely for for a shot to the NW corner. But the cue-ball collided with it and pushed it near the NW rail instead, nearly horizontally even with the cue-ball which was near the kitchen spot. The 2-ball was hanging near the south side, but you’d need to be down table for the best angle.
Norberto banked the 1-ball with authority into the south side without touching the 2-ball and the cue-ball followed down table for great shape on the 2. He sank that but rolled too far for the 3-ball shape and he cashed out for one third of the available pot. His teammate Fermin A then sank the 3-ball as a demonstration that it could have been done. - Kevin J, Table 10: Like Norberto, Kevin made a ball (6-ball) on the break and was left with a bank shot on the 1-ball within the kitchen. Although he struck it well enough for two caroms, the 1-ball stayed on the table near the east rail.
- The remaining raffle pot rolls over to Week 08.
OTHER:
- Joe C of the Free Agents made his season debut.
- There were four player absences which, by virtue of Rule 20.E.i’s example, resulted in bonus points for the respective opponent teams as follows:

Road Warriors earned 8 points from a Double Focus absence.
Pool Sharks earned 24 points from a TBD’s absence.
Racking My Brain also earned 24 points from a There Goes My 80 absence. - Although the Scotts weren’t available for the rematch against the Dogans, the match was still played. The ghost of Tricia was the high scorer (65) for TBD’s and Tyler B was the high scorer (68) for Pool Sharks.
- For the 3rd consecutive week, the two matches played on the 7-foot tables finished before any of the matches on the 9-footers.
- This was our final week of 2023 matches, but the current 2023_4 Winter season carries on into 2024. Happy new year to all!!
