Outstanding outing(s):
- Nobody scored a perfect 80 this week.
- Tim C, Julian F, and Steve V each shot a 77.
- Teammates Chris O and Bob C each shot a 76.
- Although they were opponents of each other, Lew M and Tom C each had their highest scoring week of the season.
Raffle:
- Larry P made one on the break and had a tough leave on the 1-ball. After consulting with Julian F, Larry sank the 1-ball into the southeast corner pocket. It was uncertain whether the double-bank that got it there was part of the plan or simply good fortune. He promptly cashed out two ninths of the available pot.
- Bill T knocked in two balls with an outstanding break. The cue ball was well-positioned to knock in the 2-ball which was leaning on the northwest rail. That darn 2-ball didn’t cooperate.
- The remaining raffle pot rolls over to week 13.
OTHER:
- Mike G of the Big Bang Theory had his league debut.
- The Shebrew Shammers were in full attendance for the 1st time since week 03.
- The Illinois ACS State Association announced that this year’s state tournament is rescheduled for the same dates in March but will be held in Decatur instead of in St. Charles. It seems the Pheasant Run Resort is not available anymore.
